Models KO 18, Serial Number 117489 and higher, contain three heating elements and this heating element is for use in the upper right position as you are looking into the chamber. We call this position #1.
KO 18 models, Serial Number 117488 and lower, use different heating elements (2 total). This is not that heating element. Search back through the KO 18 product listing for the proper heating element with part #00349.510.
