With Type K thermocouples, wiring from the controller will contain red and yellow jacketed wires. The red jacketed wire must connect to the side of the thermocouple terminal block that has a red mark. Your thermocouple is also color coded with a red mark and should be connected to this point as well. Failure to follow this note may cause improper reading or operation.
