If you are replacing an older, porcelain bodied toggle switch you may experience fitment problems if you use this newer switch. The old switch is top wired while the new switch is side wired. This leaves little to no room to install new switches next to each other. In these cases it may be neccessary to move existing switches around to accomodate fit. If this is not possible, there are no other options.
